Chris has agreed terms with the Coventry Bees for the seventh successive season.

Coventry promoter Colin Pratt said: "Chris improved his average last year and it was also good to see that his gating was much more consistent in the final weeks of the season.

"It's always easier to climb the ladder as he did a few years ago, resulting in his British Grand Prix win, than it is to stay there - it's like when you score your first maximum, everyone expects the same again every week.

"But Chris has always worked hard for our club during the time he's been with us and I'm confident that we will see even more from him next year."
