Harris Shines In Bees Defeat To Midland Rivals

12 September 2016

Harris scored an impressive paid 15 points and was involved in what has been described as the race of the season in heat 10 against reigning world champion Tai Woffinden and Sam Masters. Unfortunately Harris and team-mate Danny King didn't have enough support to push their Midland rivals closer on a night of good racing which again frustrated the Bees skipper.
He added: "I always enjoy coming to Wolves as it's a good track where you can have a go on and I had a good couple of tussles with Tai (Woffinden) and it was good to get the better of him.
"Danny (King) was excellent tonight but we lacked the other boys scoring what they are capable of and that's been the story of the season. We haven't all rode well together often enough and that's why we are struggling in the league.
"The Bees fans again travelled in numbers to support us but we couldn't give them a performance we wanted to."
