Chris 'Bomber' Harris wins the European Grass track Semi-Final in France
Bomber stormed to victory at the 2025 European Individual Grass track Championship Semi-Final 1 in St. Macaire, France, securing his place in the final with a commanding performance.
History was made in St. Macaire as the European Individual Grass track Championship Semi-Final 1 was held alongside the European Sidecar Championship Qualifying Round, creating a thrilling day of racing in front of 2,000 spectators. The combined event showcased the best of solo and sidecar action — and Chris Harris stole the show.
Bomber delivered a dominant performance across his heats, finishing with a perfect score of 18 points — the highest of the meeting, dominating the solo competition. His victory not only secured qualification for the final but also reaffirmed his status as one of Europe’s top grass track riders. Glenn Moi of Norway finished second, while Mika Meijer of the Netherlands claimed third after a series of intense heats.
The meeting was packed with drama, including multiple race restarts due to crashes and mechanical issues. But Harris remained composed throughout, navigating the unpredictable conditions with trademark precision.
